Laugh After Dark, the award-winning standup comedy production based in Las Vegas is thrilled to present Comedian Frankie “Trixx” Agyemang’s brand new standup comedy special and accompanying album entitled “Po’ Boy,”. The project is a nod both to Trixx’s love for The Big Easy as well as to his humble multi-cultural upbringing in Canada. With a unique perspective all his own, Trixx seamlessly blends hilarious observations on culture, race, and identity with personal anecdotes and razor-sharp wit, “Po’ Boy” is sure to entertain audiences from all walks of life.
Trixx is a rising star in the comedy world who has performed on some of the world’s most renowned comedy stages, entertaining audiences globally with his quick wit and infectious energy. With over 250K followers online, Trixx has also appeared on numerous television shows and specials, including the hit Canadian series “Comedy Now!” and the MTV program “Snack-Off”.
Filmed at the Comedy House NOLA as part of Laugh After Dark’s summer of specials filming tour in the summer of 2022, “Po’ Boy” promises to be a highlight of Trixx’s career, with its combination of laugh-out-loud humor and insightful commentary. The album is scheduled to release on March 27, which also happens to be Trixx’s birthday, and will be available to listen to on all major audio platforms.
